This year’s televised Mass for Good Shepherd Sunday will take place on Sunday, April 26th at 11:00 am from St. Canice’s Catholic Church in Kilkenny. RTE will broadcast this mass live from St. Canice’s church on the day.
Bishop Phonsie Cullinan, Chair of the Council for Vocations, will be the principal celebrant. He will be joined by Fr. Willie Purcell, National Vocations Coordinator for Diocesan Priesthood, who will concelebrate the Mass. Carol King, National Vocations Office, Seminarians from St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth, with members of the Knights of St. Columbanus, the vocations society of St. Joseph, and parishioners of St. Canice’s parish will also be in attendance.
This is an important celebration as we gather with parish community, seminarians, religious, vocations promotion personnel, and all who participate both in person and through the broadcast to pray for vocations.”
